Emmalyn is 4 months old today!

Our little girl is getting so big! We can't believe 4 months has gone by already!!! She is getting so long and filling out everywhere. She is smiling so much. All you have to do is look at her and she gives you this big open mouth smile. Her personality is really starting to come through as well. Pushing my hands away when she doesn't want to be touched, pulling her paci out of her mouth and putting it back in, watching sesame street, and allowing us to read her books now without fussing. She has been sleeping her days away this week due to some teething that we have been suspicious of for a couple of weeks now. She is soaking through several bibs a day and is putting EVERYTHING in her mouth! She is grasping and pulling things off her play mat and enjoying her exersaucer more every day. She still hasn't figured out rolling over yet but we are sure it is coming very soon! She is so active and alert and looks at things when you point to them (especially if it's sesame street characters.) She is now in 6 months Carters clothes because she is too long for the 3 month. Some other brands are still fitting in the 3-6 month though. She still has to be rocked to sleep at night but is now putting herself down for naps. She talks for about 15 minutes or so then zonks out. Still sleeping about 9 to 11 hours through the night but going to bed earlier. It gives Nate and I a little couple time so we don't mind (even though we miss her when we are up and she isn't.) Strange how that works :) Emmalyn's 4 month check up is next week so it will be interesting to see how much she has actually grown since her last visit in January. We are such happy parents and feel so blessed to have such a beautiful and wonderful little girl in our lives!
