smiley girl!

what a face to love!
what are we going to do with this wild hair?

typical Emmalyn after a slumber

brushing this hair doesn't help!

If this face (and hair) doesn't make you laugh or smile I don't know what will!

our growing girl

snoozing away in her swing
almost too big for her froggy sponge

having fun with dad

I look at this picture and can't believe how big she has gotten!

her hair is still so crazy but getting lighter

Emmalyn is growing everyday right before our eyes! I only got to see her yesterday at her 6:30 a.m. feeding and then when I got home from work at 8 p.m. It was so sad driving home realizing I missed an entire day of her life. When I got home I thought she had even changed a little from the day before... crazy I know, but true. Anyway, just wanted to keep up on the posting since not everyone gets to see her everyday like we do. We figured if we notice changes over night I'm sure you all will notice how big and beautiful she is getting since our last post!

Em's pretty flowers!

Yesterday was my first day back to work. It actually was not as bad as I thought it would be. I quietly cried for several evenings as I rocked her to sleep at night, but yesterday I was figured I had cried enough and it was time to face reality! Between Nate and my schedule we are able to watch her ourselves except for one day a week our sitter Miss Karmen is watching her. Nate watched her yesterday on my first day so I think that made it a little easier too. She was a good girl for her daddy and I couldn't wait to get home to be with her! My day at work was busy and full of friendly faces, one in particular that I love to see... my good friend Megan! She was so sweet and thoughtful, knowing it was my first day back and brought me and Em a pink potted flower to make my day brighter! I took it home and put it in Em's nursery. She loves it and it's bright pink petals! Thanks Meg :)

2 months old!

Our little baby girl is growing up! She is so animated and alert at all times. She is now giving laughing smiles and even talking to us (in her own cooing way). She is getting easier with each passing day and is sleeping better too! Every day is more exciting than the last and she proves to us continuously that she is our greatest blessing!

BFF's

It was so fun getting all the girls together for Christmas! We had many photo shoots of them all but this particular one is my favorite. They are all so sweet with each other. I can't wait to watch them all grow up and be so close!
